Adolescents and adults with autism often require explicit instruction to develop social communication skills, form friendships, and navigate social expectations across settings such as schools, workplaces, and the community.
Our Social Skills Training Program
At Phoneme Abilities Development Center, social skills training focuses on real-life application rather than scripted responses. Target areas include:
Conversation skills and active listening
Friendship building and maintenance
Social rules, boundaries, and etiquette
Community navigation and self-advocacy
Perspective-taking and problem-solving
